Chorus can supplement coaching workflow gaps by using Natural Language Processing (NLP) to coach Reps on basic conversation skills. With Chorus taking the wheel on behavior tracking and recommendations, a coaching culture can scale to the reps' desired intake of feedback without overwhelming the busy manager’s calendar.

Where to Find it
Each recording in Chorus has a set of metrics that measure the conversation skills of the sales rep. There are privacy rules in place so that only the owner of the recording can see their personalized coaching metrics. Admins are the only users can see the coaching metrics of others.
Sales Reps also get an overview trend of how they are performing on their recent calls. This view can be found under the Coaching tab on the left navigation bar.
How to use it
Self-Coaching Points and My Conversation Trends give you a snapshot view of how you stand up to best practices.
- Longest Monologue: How long do you speak on a call without stopping to engage the prospect?
- Filler Words: Are you being concise with your word choice, or finding yourself reverting to informal filler words?
- Engaging Questions: How many times did you get a 30+ second response from the prospect?
- Next Steps: You know you need them on each call…Did you define next steps before hanging up?
Use the Recording-level view as quick look into a single conversation. Green, Yellow and Red messages show the user how they compare to Chorus-identified benchmarks and guide them to the best practices for each metric. Each of the four self-coaching areas are designed to be easily identified in any moment of a call. For example, do you ever catch yourself in a rambling answer and know you need to stop talking? Chorus is going to remind you on each call now, and track how your mindfulness is leading to improvement.
To zoom out a layer and understand your habits and skills in an aggregated format, visit the Coaching tab. This view shows you the averages across meetings from the last 7 days.
Use the arrow on the right side of each card to see how that compares to the previous 7 day period. This is a simple viewport into how you’re improving. Check back each week (or each day!) to see how you’re tracking towards those all-green goals!
If you don’t see My Conversation Trends when you click on the Coaching tab, you might not be a Sales Rep user-type in Chorus. Reach out to your Chorus Admin to inquire.
