Q: Does a call need to be saved in Zoom in order to be accessible on Chorus?
We get it can be confusing that calls are recorded in Zoom yet you can see them in Chorus. How does this thing work anyway?
Q: Does a call need to be saved in Zoom in order to be accessible in Chorus?
A: No, it does not require the call to be saved in Zoom. Your calls are streamed through both Zoom and Chorus at the same time.
This means your Chorus recordings might live in two places: one within Chorus, and, if you have cloud storage enabled for Zoom, another copy will be saved in your Zoom account. Many organizations choose to enable this separate cloud recording of Zoom calls, and it's a great backup in the off chance Chorus cannot record your meeting.
If you are concerned about your Zoom storage, your Zoom admin can adjust your Zoom organization settings so that Zoom Cloud Recordings auto-delete after 7 days.
Recommended: Set up the Chorus Zoom Native Integration for the most streamlined, highest quality and least intrusive call recording experience.
