Q: Can I add Chorus Back to a Call After it Leaves?
Recently, you were in a meeting you wanted recorded but accidentally stopped the recording. Or maybe it was a very long meeting and most of the way through Chorus exited. What should you do if Chorus leaves your meeting before it’s over and you need to add it back in? While Chorus recording times are based on schedules outlined in the length and timing article, you can always get Chorus back.
Q: Can I add Chorus back to a call after it leaves?
A: Yes! Should you need to add Chorus back to a meeting, you can manually record the remaining portion of a call if it goes longer. Once Chorus leaves your meeting, wait 2 minutes for the bot to fully exit, and then you can manually set a new recording for the same meeting.
Here’s how: go to https://chorus.ai/record, copy/paste enter the conference link and click Invite Chorus. Chorus will join right away.
This link can also be found by going to the My Recordings tab (https://chorus.ai/my-recordings), and clicking "Add Chorus to Live Call" under the calendar to the right.
Once Chorus is manually added, your meeting will be recorded normally, although you will notice manually adding Chorus will cause your meeting to be titled “Unscheduled Meeting”.
Editing the title to reflect a more meaningful one is easy to do: simply click on the gear icon next to the title to edit.
Adjust the “Recording Name” field as needed and click “Save”.
